The newsletter by and for the students is
reinvented!

The Corriere Degli Studenti,
a newsletter by and for the students, is going
strong but we need more people to become involved.
This year we want the newsletter to represent
all levels. We need you to start writing now!!!
We would prefer if work is written in Italian
but English is accepted if you want to write
more than your Italian writing skills allow.
Here are some ideas.
- Review section: Books,
CDs, videos, films and exhibitions. Write
a review to let others know about a good
detective story, a trusted recipe book or
a great film etc.
- Directory of “Things
Italian” in Brisbane: Where are your favourite
delis, restaurants, shops etc? Write a review
or just name the place with contact details.
- Share your passion for
something Italian: Write an article about
anything Italian, cars, cycling, food, fashion,
gardens etc. Photographic illustrations
are welcome.
- Recent travel experiences:
Your chance to share your latest holiday
adventure. Doesn’t have to be in Italy.
Photographs welcome.
- Reviews of schools in
Italy : Lots of students studied in Italy
over the holiday period. We need reviews
to help future students choose where to
study.
- Cucinare Bene: Share
your favourite Italian recipe. (In Italian
please.)
- Puzzles: Crosswords or
others that you have created.
- Web sites that you find
useful.
- Helpful Hints: Any useful
information to help fellow travellers when
they are in Italy.
- Questions about Italy
or things Italian can be addressed to the
editor who will endeavour to find an answer
for you.
If your work is in Italian,
please give it to your teacher first for corrections,
then email it to Kathryn and Charlie Beckingsale
kbecking@bigpond.net.au
as a text file or word document. Photographs
can be emailed or hard copies placed in an envelope
for us to scan. All care will be taken.
Alternatively, hand your contribution into the
Dante Alighieri office for us to collect.
If you have any questions
you can contact Kathryn or Noelene, when she
is not performing the role of overseas correspondent
in Italy, c/o the Dante Alighieri Society in
Brisbane.
